42'
AMARTEY WITH A CHANCE!!! Atsu plays a decent ball into the box, but Amartey heads high and wide despite being all by himself in the box. He was never challenged, and he should have done better to at least force Essam El-Hadary into a save.
41'
J. Ayew enters the game and replaces A. Gyan.
Substitution Asamoah Gyan Jordan Ayew
Gyan can't continue, and Jordan Ayew takes his place. A big blow for Ghana.

38'
Jordan Ayew is already warming up as Tetteh curls his attempt way off target from inside the box.
37'
It looks like Asamoah Gyan will not be able to continue here. He's receiving medical attention, but he contiues to limp on the sidelines. It looks like a groin injury.
35'
The Black Stars have been played fairly well since conceding that 11th minute goal from a free-kick situation. They look better upfront and there's a sense of urgency from the players.

Dede Ayew's first touch lets him down as Ghana look to catch Egypt on the break. He does well to regain possession and cross into the area, but it is too close to Essam El-Hadary, who gathers with ease.

Andre Ayew and Samuel Tetteh are by far Ghana's best players on the pitch. They are pulling all the right strings in the middle of the park.
22'
Ghana are trying to get behind the Egyptian defense, but so far they have had enough space to pull the trigger from the edge of the box and they have used that to their advantage.
20'
A good combination play sees Ghana enter the opposition's penalty area. Gyan however, is tightly marked by Hezagy, who denies him the space to turn.

And we're underway...
Hi everyone, welcome to the live coverage of the final Group D match between Egypt and Ghana. I am Ernest Makhaya, and I will be your host again tonight.
Let's take a look at how both teams have lined up tonight...
Ghana starting XI: Razak Brimah, Andy Yiadom, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye, Harrison Afful, Christian Atsu, Daniel Amartey, Agyemang Badu, Andre Ayew, Samuel Tetteh, Asamoah Gyan.
Egypt starting XI: Essam El-Hadary, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Hegazy, Ali Gabr, Ahmed Elmohamady, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Elneny, Mohamed Salah, Abdallah El-Said, Mahmoud 'Trezeguet', Marwan Mohsen.
The two nations are already on the pitch for the singing of National Anthems.
PERMUTATIONS: As things stand, Egypt top Group D, and should they win here, they will top the Group with seven points. Ghana are already on six points and will also go through.
Avram Grant will surely want to see his team improve in the second half. I think defensively, they were shaky, and they need a player who is brave enough to take shots from range.
For Egypt though, they need to add more bodies in central midfield to try and neutralise Andre Ayew and protect their defense.
Both sets of players are getting ready for the start of the second half. They are slowly making their way back onto the pitch.
Ghana and Egypt have met six times since 2009. Egypt are slightly ahead with three wins compared to Ghana's two. The other match ended in a draw.
Mohamed Salah's solitary strike was enough to send Egypt through to the quarter-finals of Afcon 2017.
The four-time African champions will meet Morocco in the quarter-finals on Sunday at 7pm GMT.
Ghana, who will be disappointed with their performance here tonight, will face the Democratic Republic of Congo, also on Sunday at 4pm GMT.
It was an absolute pleasure bringing you this encounter LIVE on Goal. Until we meet again on Sunday, goodbye!
