Description
73'
How huge a goal could that be to Lopetegui? The match is now poised for a very exciting finish but Real Madrid fans will not be content until there is a few more goals to turn the game on it's head completely.
72'
Marcelo has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by K. Benzema.
Great work from Benzema to keep the attack alive and he put his pass exactly where Marcelo needed it.
GOAL! 2-1! Real Madrid pull one back! Bale's cross floats over the middle to Benzema, who cuts back to Marcelo in the middle. He delays a shot initially to make some room before smashing into the roof of the net.
71'
It is not going Real Madrid's way at all. They've forced strong saves, been unlucky with a few opportunities and have also been wasteful at times.
69'
WIDE! Marcelo's low cross finds Bale with room inside the area but his shot on the turn bounces harmlessly past the post.
67'
C. Doukouré enters the game and replaces Rochina.
Levante make their first change of the match by introducing Doucoure for Rochina.
64'
If it stays like this Levante, who failed to win any of their opening five matches in LaLiga, will be just one point behind Real Madrid in the table.
62'
Lopetegui has now shown his hand and Real Madrid's side is now extremely attack-minded. You can sense the desperation to bring an end to this woeful run of form.

54'
Isco whips the free-kick into the middle towards Ramos but it is headed behind for a corner, which also comes to nothing.
53'
E. Cabaco gets yellow.
Cabaco pulls the shirt of Asensio and concedes a free-kick just outside the box, earning himself the game's first yellow card.
52'
Levante are still looking dangerous on the counter though, particularly with Vazquez and Marcelo regularly bombing forward, and Real do not look like they have the answers to keeping Morales and Marti quiet.
50'
Levante are putting a lot of men behind the ball in the opening exchanges as they aim to keep the hosts quite. Vazquez is now playing as a wing-back following Odriozola's departure, which leaves a very attacking line-up.
48'
The home support have been encouraged by the introduction of Bale, who should be able to put the Levante defence under a regular amount of pressure. He will need some help though.
46'
G. Bale enters the game and replaces Odriozola.
Real Madrid get the action back underway for what could be a crucial 45 minutes for Lopetegui's reign at the Santiago Bernabeu.

GOAL! Tono bursts through into space and the Real Madrid defence is exposed. He cuts a pass back into the middle where it is tapped home by Rochina but, yet again, VAR is coming into play!
42'
Just a few minutes of regulation time left at the end of the first half but there is likely to be a large chunk added on due to the two VAR decisions.
40'
Morales is finding all sorts of space amongst the Real Madrid defence and tries to cut the ball back to Jason in the middle but Real get the ball away.
38'
Marcelo has been a thorn in the side of Levante throughout the first half as he continues to burst forward but there is not enough movement in the box to make it count.
36'
Levante have found themselves under a consistent amount of pressure as Real Madrid desperately try to find a way back into the match but they are still limiting the chances created in open play.
32'
Levante will need to be careful to ensure they do not concede before the break as that could lead the game to turn on it's head.
28'
Levante look to be extremely dangerous on the counter and it would take a brave man to bet against them not adding to their lead. The visitors certainly get the sense that Real are here for the taking.
24'
All of Real Madrid's opportunities are coming from set-pieces and a lack of creativity is being shown in open play.
20'

10'
Isco takes a corner for Real and floats his delivery towards the near post but the Levante defence easily deals with the danger.
8'
A nightmare for Real Madrid, who will have been desperate to avoid conceding an early goal and would have liked to instantly relieve the pressure upon their shoulders.
6'
José Luis Morales has scored a goal for Levante! Assist by Postigo.
All the early tempo has come from Real Madrid but, just like in recent week, they are struggling to create any opportunities of note.
Postigo's ball was inviting and Morales' run was also brilliant but question marks will certainly be asked about Varane, who should have done a lot better.
GOAL! 1-0 Levante! Postigo plays a direct ball forward through to Morales and Varane completely misjudges the pass. The forward's first touch is superb to flick the ball around Courtois before smashing home into the empty net.
4'
The hosts have started on the front foot as Asensio puts the Levante defence under pressure but Real are yet to test Oier with a strike at goal.
2'
Morales charges into the box and tumbles under pressure from Vazquez and makes a half-hearted appeal for a penalty but the referee is not interested and the offside flag is raised anyway.

Real Madrid find themselves under significant pressure following a poor start to the season and have failed to win their last four matches across all competitions. Levante, meanwhile, won back-to-back games before the international break to bring an end to their slow start to the campaign.
Real Madrid XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Alvaro Odriozola, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Luka Modric, Casemiro, Isco; Lucas Vazquez, Mariano Diaz, Marco Asensio.
Real subs: Keylor Navas, Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Sergio Reguilon, Karim Benzema, Nacho.
The players are heading onto the field at the Santiago Bernabeu.
What a first half we have seen at the Santiago Bernabeu! Levante stormed into a two-goal lead after just 15 minutes but Real Madrid through Asensio had pulled one back. VAR decided otherwise and Levante also had a goal chalked off for offside late on. We have barely had a chance to catch our breath!
Lopetegui will almost certainly look to his bench for inspiration and Bale seems like an obvious candidate to be introduced. The home faithful are furious though and, with the first El Clasico of the season next weekend, the temperature is at boiling point. Levante, chasing a third win in a row, may switch to a more defensive style.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye.
Lopetegui now faces a crucial week against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League and Barcelona in El Clasico next weekend but it remains to be seen whether he will remain in his post for those matches. Levante, meanwhile, head to Leganes on the back of a three-match winning streak.
