Kompany has struggled up against Deeney since the striker came on. Kompany is all over his opponent and concedes a free-kick 25 yards out, which Deulofeu hammers right into the City wall.
90' +2
Four minutes have been added on at the Etihad Stadium, the first two of which have already been played with little incident. Jesus is picked out in plenty of space down the left but is flagegd for offside, coming after a weak Watford penalty appeal was rejected.
90'
P. Foden enters the game and replaces R. Mahrez.
The final change of the game sees Foden given a few minutes at the end, as he takes over from Mahrez. It is the youngster's second Premier League outing of 2019.
88'
Gundogan has quietly gone about his business today and he clearly wants a goal of his own. His shot from outside the box fails to find the target.
87'
We have already been treated to four goals in this second half but there could have been five or six. Man City deserve their victory on the basis of the whole match, yet it may have been a different story had their controversial opener not stood. The hosts are probing away for a fourth goal.
85'
GREAT TACKLE! Some good, one-touch passing undoes Watford but Kabasele bails out his side. Jesus is about to pull the trigger after sending Foster to the ground but Kabasele deflects the ball over the bar with his block. The corner is met by Otamendi towards the back post and flies wide off the defender's head.
83'
Foster is nearly caught out by the flight of Ederson's punt, but he backpedals and manages to bring it under control under pressure from Jesus.
82'
C. Cathcart enters the game and replaces M. Britos.
Cathcart, who has been a near ever-present for Watford in the Premier League this season, is brought off the bench for Britos.
80'
Gabriel Jesus enters the game and replaces S. Agüero.
Aguero does not look entirely happy to be leaving the field without a goal. He is replaced by Jesus for the final 10 minutes.

Description
78'
SAVE! Aguero initially loses the ball but David Silva feeds it back into his path. The angle is against the Argentina striker, but that does not put him off and his shot is well dealt with by Foster.
77'
Mahrez plays the ball through for Aguero but the City counter ends prematurely thanks to a fine challenge from Kabasele. The hosts come again, this time down the right through Walker, but his cross into the six-yard box is turned behind by Janmaat.
75'
Deulofeu is causing City's backline plenty of problems. Otamendi is unable to deal with the ex-Barcelona winger and pulls him back, conceding a free-kick in a process. The set-piece delivery from the right is pretty poor, though, cleared away before a Watford player can get on the end of it.
73'
This is more like it from Watford. The visitors are starting to give it more of a go, buoyed by Deulofeu's goal, as they throw some bodies forward. Another goal for Gracia's men and we will have a grandstand finish on our hands.
71'
The match has gone a little flat since Deulofeu pulled one back for Watford. Aguero shows brilliant footwork to get past two men, nutmegging both of them, but he is unable to get a shot away at the end of it.
67'
Sane wins the right to take on the free-kick from 20 yards, which he blasts into the side of Deulofeu's face. There is a stoppage in play for the former Barcelona ace to receive some treatment.
66'
Deulofeu enters the game and replaces Kiko Femenía.
Deulofeu has scored a goal for Watford! Assist by T. Deeney.
T. Deeney enters the game and replaces I. Success.
Gracia finally turns to his bench by bringing on captain Deeney for Success as part of a double change.
Deulofeu, the scorer of a hat-trick at Cardiff City last month, is introduced in place of Femenia. Watford look as though they are ready to flick to attack move.
Talk about making an impact! Deeney and Deulofeu were brought on to give Watford something a little different up top, and they needed under 30 seconds to do exactly that by linking up for this goal. Deeney wanted the ball more than Kompany and Deulofeu made no mistake with the finish.
GOOOOAAALLL!!! MAN CITY 3-1 WATFORD! Twenty-one seconds after coming off the bench, Deeney heads the ball into the path of fellow sub Deulofeu for a calm finish past Ederson. Game on!
64'
L. Sané enters the game and replaces R. Sterling.
Hat-trick hero Sterling is replaced by Sane for the remaining 25 minutes. It is a like-for-like change that will surely have Watford's players looking up at the clock to see how long is left.
63'
It looks as though Sterling is about to be taken off in the game's first change. City are not really looking like scoring at the moment, but nor too are the visitors.
61'
Watford, now three goals behind, are still sitting off. There could be no complaints about Gracia's approach at 0-0, but it is strange to see the visitors going so defensive when in need of a goal. Gracia is holding off from making a change.
59'
R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by David Silva.
David Silva could not pull the strings in the way he would have liked in the first half, but he has already made a big impact in this second period. This was a great assist, slotting the ball inside Janmaat for Sterling to race onto.
GOOOOAAAALLL!!! MAN CITY 3-0 WATFORD! A quickfire hat-trick for Sterling puts the game out of Watford's reach! David Silva plays the ball inside Janmaat and Sterling keeps his composure in front of goal, taking the ball inside Kabasele and lifting it over Foster with a delicate little chip.
57'
Watford are making no real attempt to press their opponents, instead sitting back as they did in the first half. A strange approach considering they need a couple of goals. Gracia clearly wants to leave the Etihad Stadium without conceding five goals, as was the case at Anfield last month.
55'
The tempo of the match has dropped to walking pace. City are no longer having to throw bodies forward in search of a goal, knowing that the onus is on Watford to score the game's next goal. Gracia may be tempted to make a change or two.
53'
Man City are now looking a lot more comfortable thanks to those two goals early in the second period. The opening goal from Sterling will dominate the headlines, though, as the hosts had been frustrated up until that point.
50'
R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by R. Mahrez.
Mahrez did well to get away from his man, look up and spot Sterling unmarked a few yards out. A classic Man City goal.
GOOOOAAALLL!!! MAN CITY 2-0 WATFORD! Watford appear to have crumbled on the back of that questionable decision from the officials. A couple of minutes after Sterling's controversial opener was awarded, the winger scores a second. The ball falls nicely for David Silva, who plays it into the path of Mahrez and the Algeria international squares it for Sterling to tap into an empty net. Think that can now be described as a 'trademark Sterling goal'.
48'
It must be said, that decision is incredibly harsh on the visitors. Janmaat did indeed hit the ball onto Sterling, with the ball then looping over Foster, but he only tried to clear the ball because an offside Sterling was ready to pounce. The Man City winger was surely interfering with play?...
46'
R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City!
Watford, on course for an unlikely point, get us back underway at the Etihad Stadium!
GOOOOAAALLL!!! MAN CITY 1-0 WATFORD! Real drama here at the start of the second half! Aguero chests Gundogan's delightful pass into the path of Sterling and the winger lifts it over Foster. The goal is initially ruled out for offside, though it is argued that Janmaat hit it onto Sterling - rather than Sterling looping it over Foster on his own - so it therefore should not be offside. After a lengthy discussion between the referee and his linesman, the goal is awarded.
45'
One minute has been added on at the end of a so-far scoreless first half.
44'
Masina refuses to let Bernardo get away from him but the Man City midfielder does at least win a corner, which is greeted by ironic cheers from the home fans. The corner is worked short to Gundogan in the box, only for his cross on the turn to be cleared away - again!
42'
Watford have registered just six passes in the final third of the field, which pretty much says it all. That is not a criticism of the visitors, though, because they are on course for an unlikely point.
40'
The champions are having to work extremely hard to find a way through, as was the case against Bournemouth last weekend - and indeed against West Ham United in their most recent home outing. Sterling allows the ball to roll out of play thinking a corner will be given, but the referee did not spot Zinchenko's pass take a touch off Femenia.
38'
Otamendi appeared to take a risk when going for the ball in that earlier penalty shout for Watford, but replays show that Cleverley instigated the contact and the referee got it right by not pointing to the spot.
33'
City are starting to turn the screw. Aguero gets on the end of a diagonal ball and tests Foster down low, but the offside flag eventually goes up so it would not have counted.
32'
GREAT TACKLE! Janmaat times his tackle on Sterling perfectly, taking the ball off his opponent inside the box just when it looked as though the City attacker was about to pick his spot. A simple ball over the top caught Watford's backline - bar Janmaat - out.
28'
Sterling runs into trouble and there are a few groans around the Etihad Stadium. The home fans been spoiled for a while now and they know when their players are not playing at full throttle, as is the case here.
26'
Masina tries to get the other side of Walker but the Man City full-back does well to hold off his opponent. The hosts win the ball back high up the pitch but some good defending from Britos stops them from creating anything. Sterling's miscued volley goes behind for a corner, having taken a touch off a Watford player.
24'
Foster must have got a touch to that Zinchenko cross because a corner is awarded. Otamendi gets to the ball first and flicks it on, but the contact is too thick and it goes straight through.
23'
Passes galore for the hosts at the moment but they are not really managing to do much with the ball on the rare occasions that they get in behind. Zinchenko whips one in from the edge of the box, getting a little too much on it as it goes through without a telling touch from Aguero.
21'
Nearly a quarter of the match played and Man City are still not really firing on all cylinders. Watford are happy to sit back in the hope of potentially taking a 0-0 draw back to Hertfordshire.
19'
Gundogan's free-kick is aimed into a good area, but Watford goalkeeper Foster races off his line to punch it clear.
18'
T. Cleverley gets yellow.
Cleverley throws himself into Walker and earns a booking. That came moments after David Silva's shot was blocked by Foster at his near post.
17'
Gudogan tries to slip the ball through for Sterling, but the England forward fails to bring it under control and it rolls out for a goal-kick.
16'
The atmosphere around the Etihad Stadium is a little flat a the moment. The home fans could do with a goal to get them going.
15'
If Watford's gameplan is to stifle their opponents, they have done exactly that so far. David Silva gets in behind towards the left but the visitors have plenty of players in the middle, Kabasele among them, to cut out the cross.
13'
Zinchenko, who has been one of City's best players over the last month, swings in a teasting cross from the left that goes behind for a corner. The set-piece is pretty poor, though Aguero is being pulled around in the middle and maybe has a penalty claim.
11'
BLOCKED SHOT! Watford's first sight of goal ends in disappointment as Gray, with no real options alongside him, waits for Cleverley to make up some ground and then lays the ball off for his team-mate to strike. The shot deflects into Ederson's arms.
9'
NEARLY! Sterling, Gundogan and Mahrez probe away on the edge of the box, before the latter swings a cross in towards David Silva. The midfielder beats Foster to the ball but cannot guide it on target. Replays show that it hit his hand - fortunately for the officials it did not go in!
8'
Gracia will be happy enough with the opening eight minutes of the match. City started well but have dropped off since Otamendi's long-ranger, which was comfortably saved by Foster.
6'
K. Walker gets yellow.
Walker, having already avoided a booking for tripping Masina, allows Success to get away from him and gets none of the ball when lunging in. The referee Paul Tierney reaches into his pocket.
5'
Masina wins the ball 10 yards from his own box and has plenty of space in front of him, but he is tripped by Walker before he can get going. The hosts have to be wary of the counter today.
3'
EARLY SAVE! Otamendi picks up the ball 30 yards from goal and decides to have a go, forcing Foster into an early save. David Silva then looks to pick out Sterling with a clipped pass over the top, but Watford deal with it.
2'
Right from the off, City are dominating possession. Watford are happy to get every player back behind the ball, setting themselves up to hit their opponents on the counter through the likes of Success and Gray.
1'
Man City, who lead the way at the top of the Premier League with nine games to go, get us underway!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Manchester City and Watford at the Etihad Stadium.
After returning to the top of the Premier League last weekend with their fifth top-flight win in a row - a narrow 1-0 victory at Bournemouth - Man City have the chance to open the gap on second-place Liverpool to four points ahead of the Reds' meeting with Burnley on Sunday. Pep Guardiola's men are on an incredible run of form, especially at the Etihad Stadium as they have taken 42 of the 45 points available to them in home games this season.
Watford are also enjoying an impressive campaign and will be looking to keep their momentum going heading into next weekend's FA Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace. The visitors have won three of their last four Premier League games - as many as they managed in their previous 15 - and are eighth in the table. Seventh appears to be the best Javi Gracia can hope for, and his side will move above Wolves into that position should they claim a surprise point here.
MAN CITY XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Kyle Walker, Vincent Kompany (c), Nicolas Otamendi, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, David Silva; Riyad Mahrez, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling.
Man City subs: Aro Muric, Leroy Sane, Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, Fabian Delph, Danilo, Aymeric Laporte.
Watford subs: Ken Sema, Jose Holebas, Troy Deeney, Heurelho Gomes, Gerard Deulofeu, Domingos Quina, Craig Cathcart.
The two teams are now out on the field at the Etihad Stadium and we are moments away from kick-off.
WATFORD XI (4-5-1): Ben Foster; Daryl Janmaat, Miguel Britos, Christian Kabasele, Adam Masina; Kiko Femenia, Etienne Capoue (c), Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Cleverley, Isaac Success; Andre Gray.
Watford's gameplan is working a treat, having restricted City to those two headed opportunities. The visitors failed to register a first-half shot for just the second time this season in the Premier League, though they did have a weak penalty shout rejected when Otamendi tangled legs with Cleverley. Gracia, who made seven changes today, will be after more of the same in the second half.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
Guardiola's men have now won nine matches on the spin, giving them plenty of momentum ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Schalke, which they lead 3-2. City then turn focus back to the FA Cup next weekend as they travel to Swansea City for a place in the semi-finals. Watford are also in FA Cup action in seven days' time, with Crystal Palace the visitors to Vicarage Road.
